Encryption Methods

What encryption methods are used for data storage and transmission in Instabase AI Hub?

Instabase AI Hub uses industry best practices for encryption to secure data both in transit and at rest. Specifically, the data is encrypted using the following methods:

  1. Data at Rest:

    • Server-side encryption options are available for connected drives such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage. These include:
      • Amazon S3: Server-side encryption with Amazon-managed keys (SSE-S3) or AWS Key Management Service (SSE-KMS).
      • Azure Blob Storage: Server-side encryption using Azure’s encryption mechanisms.
      • Google Cloud Storage: Server-side encryption with Google-managed keys (GCS AES-256) or Google Cloud Key Management Service (GCS KMS).
  2. Data in Transit:

    • Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols to ensure secure transmission.
